Top tips
• Writers, Admin and Sub-publishing deals - If a GLOBAL TERRITORY CODE has been set for the system, it is only necessary to enter royalty rates for 'The World' if the same rates apply to all territories.
• Entering releases that contain Medleys : After 'building' a medley, it can be used on other formats of a Catalogue Number simply by looking up the Medley Title on the appropriate track. There is no need to enter a Medley's entire details for every format that contains it.
• Always load new versions of the software as soon after you receive them as possible. There are several reasons for this - It keeps your system compatible with other Musicalc users and it makes it easier for our support line to accurately assist you should you have a query.
• Musicalc can send and receive royalty statements electronically - so contact the companies you deal with to arrange this - Think of all the time you will save !
